even though we live smack in the middle of the city, right down the block is a coyote haven in our son's school campus. loaded with rabbits, the campus also is home to these wily creatures. the early evenings, with the cool rain, brings them out to play though. its like yellowstone national park, right in our own neighborhood. people stop their cars, get out the cameras and attempt to get as close as they can. me, i stick with the telephoto lens, i like my coyotes wild.
well, actually, the cat won't be away, he'll be lazily guarding the garden, but i will, so i thought i'd try my hand at a photo a day, inspired by the wonderful Rebecca Sower.
comet, the art cat, isn't so much into art lately. well, perhaps that's my fault, as i haven't really been DOING any.
at any rate, here he poses in the lettuce bed, perturbed that his bird stalking has been interrupted, yet somewhat happy to pose for the camera. yep, this cat loves to strike a pose.
